I’m not afraid to admit it — sometimes I lean my seat all the way back on an airplane. Especially if it’s really early and I really need to sleep.

I never used to do this. I used to think it was the rudest thing someone could possibly do on an airplane besides take their shoes off. But now? Now I spend about a full day a week up in the air and I think I just feel entitled to actually get a few hours of sleep on the dang red eye to Chicago.At least one other person out there agrees.

Does this make me a jerk? Do you lean your seat back?

(I write this as a very tall person who has had her knees bruised by over-zealous seat back leaners… it sucks, but I still feel entitled late at night or early in the morning.)
